A little White Sand in the Morning

Take your shoes off and enjoy the super soft white sand.

Southest New Mexico

Before heading to Texas Jen and I decided to take a day to explore Southeast New Mexico. We started early in the morning driving from Ruidoso down to White Sands National Monument. Look for the Worlds Largest Pistachio Nut to your right before getting into town. Awesome! Stop for coffee to keep warm on the dunes barefooted. Drive!
Get to White Sands early in the morning. The Park Rangers usually leave to get coffee and you can drive in for free. We where lucky and and came after a windy night so all tracks where coverd form the pervious day. No one! I mean no one was there. We hike around bare footed in which is the only way to hike here. We also made sand angles and rolled around in that unreally soft sand like powered. Maybe a little radiated thou.
After a good hour or two we where off into Lincoln National Forest. A hidden gem! Ever the chance take it; this area will never let you down. THIS DRIVE IS AWESOME! Enjoy! We stop for a moment at a road side stand before leaving hat had it bathroom inside a Camels pen. A clean one thou. Let the kids burn some energy by feed the goats and pickup a mini-pie for yourself. YUM-OOO! We talked for moment and the owner explained that his family has had that land since the first white settlers came to that area. Cool! Get you some. Off...

I Love Marfa

A town in the high desert of far West Texas in the Southwestern United States for a long time has been one of my favorite places in the world. With an average of one person per square mile, Marfa definitely gives me the space that I so much desire.

Southwest

It's been a while but a lot has happen. getting married, USC film School, and of course traveling. I've decided to do my thesis, a documentary, titled 'Where the Dart Falls' as my final project.
Traveling around the country discovering and working in some the subcultures that makes America what it is. We as a nation, I believe, have forgot what it really takes to run a country. We have been mislead by politicians and corporations to what our true values are. Wish me luck that map above will be full soon.

To see a large selection of my work please follow the link.
The map is just one month of places the dart decided to carry my wife and I.

Check out some of my photos form my travels.
